Happy Birthday Mr. Dressup! Google Doodle celebrates Ernie Coombs’ 85th birthday. I grew up watching this show and never questioned the fact that Ernie Coombs crossed dressed each week and had his puppet son living in a tree house. He had many friends come over to his house and they were all cool with the idea. So were we all.
