Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders (P.S.)

The insights and inspirations of Neil Gaiman is an amazing thing of beauty. Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders (P.S.) is an earlier book of Neil’s released in October 2007. Like his processor Ray Bradbury who made science fiction an art form with well written stories and concepts. Ray wrote books and essays that explored his influences and the evolution of his writing. Neil always reminded me of Ray in many ways, but a more modern version of him. Ray’s and Neil’s works began or had that comic book feel to it, but the stories had more life to them. They mostly had a cinematic feel to it, it’s hard to project a film in your head when reading other writers. Neil and Ray have an ease with language that easily transcends into instant imagery when you read these body of works. Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders (P.S.) is a tome of delights from different sources and you can hear the whole book for free online. If you just shut down the hustle and bussel around your busy world and find a moment of silence and crank this audio version of the book, you will travel to a unique experience not found to often in this congested world of noise and chaos.  Listen >>
