
Is this the future of cities with carbon dioxide problems? With skyscraper real estate available it’s only natural to have green roofs and combat pollution that seems to just float above the cityscape of metropolitan densely polluted skies. Detroit will be going a bit greener with 219 acres of roof space that could easily be remove 55,000 tons of carbon dioxide from the city. Multiply this by every city in the world and you would have a healthier planet. Green roofs are not exactly new but the newly discovered benefits will surely make them more popular in cities trying to fight carbon dioxide. A greener space can only beautify the surrounding concrete jungle.
