One half of the Anderson duo, Sylvia Anderson, always creatively attached to the symbiotic Gerry Anderson gave the world "Supermarionation". Many kids in England in the 50’s clamored together and had their eyes glued to the likes of Fireball XL5 and a whole barrage of TV shows created by the duo till their apex creation Space 1999. They put out some serious science fiction ideas with their marionettes with their signature strings and stiff character presentation, but we all forgot that with the strong stories and fun escapism.
