The Invisible Man Action Figure

Mego is known for cool action figures from the 70s. Planet of the Apes and The Original Star Trek action figures capitulated from a purveyor of cheap dime-store toys. The newly-reformed Mego Corporation is creating some exciting licensed action figures. The Invisible Man action figure is not one of them. I do not know about you but this looks more like The Icicle Man. They should have made him without a head and hands.

On a snowy night, a mysterious stranger with his face wrapped in bandages and his eyes obscured by dark goggles finds lodging at the lion’s head Inn in the English Village of Iping in Sussex. The stranger is Dr. Jack Griffin, a chemist who has discovered the secret of invisibility, but in doing so, he becomes murderously insane.

Dr. Griffin, a scientist who has devoted himself to research into optics and invents a way to change a body’s refractive index to that of air so that it neither absorbs nor reflects light and thus becomes invisible. He successfully carries out this procedure on himself.
