Top selling children’s book
What is the best selling children’s book of all time, as you might have surmised it is indeed The Poky Little Puppy. It has sold over 15 million copies since 1942 and still going strong. Janette Sebring Lowrey the creator of the book was paid only $75.00 for the book by Golden Books. That has to be the most lopsided deal ever in the publishing world. Golden Books has enjoyed a long run and has sold over 2 billion books since the inception between Western Publishing and Simon & Schuster introduced the series of books priced at 25 cents.
