The Shazam comic book series never took itself too seriously. The same could be said about the Shazam! movies. The sequel seems to be not too far from the first movie. Shazam! Fury of the Gods so far looks like it is a fun movie that will have moviegoers enjoying themselves once again.

Zachary Levi gives fan their first official look at the Shazam! the sequel, which is scheduled to open in theatres on June 2, 2023. In addition to Levi, who reprises the title role, the DCEU sequel also stars Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Helen Mirren, and Lucy Liu. David F. Sandberg returns to direct.
