James Gunn’s supervillain team-up movie The Suicide Squad is a complete reboot from the 2016 version. The R-rated Gunn movie is set to hit theaters and HBO Max on Aug. 6. Most of the characters are completely new to this version of the film, though Margot Robbie will return as Harley Quinn, as well as Jai Courtney as Boomerang from the 2016 version of the film. DC fans will rejoice at the first film introduction of kaiju. (Starro!) This is a full Gunn blazing adventure like you never seen before.

I am saddened to hear that Ron Campbell, the animator of the Beatles' Yellow Submarine has passed away at the age of 81. Animation Magazine did a great tribute to him.
