    The special is directed by John L. Spencer, produced by Derek Productions, and was recorded at the world-famous London Palladium earlier this year.

    During the year 2020, Ricky Gervais solidified his association with Netflix by penning a substantial deal, reportedly valued at an impressive $40 million. This multifaceted agreement not only encompassed the production of the much-anticipated third season of his critically acclaimed comedy series, “After Life,” but also included a provision for an unspecified number of exclusive stand-up specials. The lucrative pact attested to both Gervais’s artistic prowess and his enduring appeal, underscoring Netflix’s commitment to showcasing his diverse talents across various comedic formats. With this strategic collaboration, Gervais further cemented his presence as a key player in the streaming platform’s dynamic content landscape.

    Gervais’s new set is his third Netflix stand-up special, following Humanity (2018) and SuperNature (2022), and alongside his critically acclaimed, award-winning series Afterlife, are available exclusively on Netflix.
