Giving a piece of yourself in the most literal sense is the biggest decision you might make. Jana Christy is donating her kidney to her brother who has type two diabetes that led to complications to his kidney. The ordeal and preparation of donating a kidney to another individual is perhaps a testament of a person’s fortitude of what it is to be a human and respect life. Jana is chronicling her experience in a form of a webcomic and jokingly likens it to a John Locke experience where he gave his own kidney to his father who was not appreciative at all.
