From the small screen to comic books: American TV Comic Books (1940s-1980s) by Peter Bosch

Sure the comic book publishers had a well-established property by printing TV series in comic book form. Some were successful, others not so much. Kids from the 40s-to 80s were not spoiled with the internet like the kids of today. Comic books were the only extension outside the TV shows besides the novelization of top-notch shows. Peter Bosch brings out in full color those amazing TV show tie-ins comic books from yesterday. American TV Comic Books (1940s-1980s) by TwoMorrows Publishing is a great addition to your home library. Lucifer: The Complete Fifth Season

The devil made me do it. I had to post the latest release of Lucifer: The Complete Fifth Season. I really love this show. With solid acting, Lucifer found a new following on Netflix. So much so that it got an extension of life with new episodes. Better catch up and buy the previous seasons. You will not want to miss the exciting series. There will be hell to pay if you do not pick up this series.

Ren & Stimpy: The Almost Complete Collection

Some might argue there is no SpongeBob SquarePants without Ren & Stimpy. The Nickelodeon show from the 90s revolutionized animation to the chagrin of parents. There are elements of early SpongeBob that owes to Ren & Stimpy. Ren & Stimpy relied on vulgarity and offence to capture its audience. This new collection of Ren & Stimpy is the best priced collection put together. The almost complete series is short six episodes from the ill-advised Ren and Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon (also known as Ren and Stimpy: The Lost Episodes) from Spike TV. This is a perfect collection for those viewing the series for the first time.

Watch the new Peacemaker trailer

PEACEMAKER explores the continuing story of the character that John Cena reprises in the aftermath of Gunn’s 2021 film “The Suicide Squad”– a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.
