The Art of M.S. Corely

Illustrator M.S. Corley is an exceptional cover artist and he is heavily borrowing from the classic Penguin designs of old. The classic Penguin covers were collected a few years ago in Phil Baines’s Penguin by Design: A Cover Story 1935-2005. His new interpretation of  Harry Potter, Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials, Lemony Snicket gives it a sense of style. The covers emulate ageless classics as something from the distant past.
